Zac Brown – Shut up and Sing!
In a recent Rolling Stone interview (a soft and uninteresting one I might add- the kind you read and regret you just lost several minutes of your life you can’t get back), Brown “blasts the poison of politics” and is planning an “insane super jam” for his new tour. Whatever the hell this narcissist means by that!
Further reading the article, Zac Brown is a mask-hole! I love his music. He’s very entertaining. His covers are better than the originals. But COVID hypocrites are hard to tolerate!
Shut up and sing! Like Lebron, shut up and dribble. No one cares about your COVID opinions.
Zac Brown got COVID twice – TWICE!! In the article he complains that he had to layoff a number of his employees because the tour was stalled indefinitely. He posted a tearful YouTube video, “I’ve got this message that I want to say to the people that aren’t taking this seriously, and the people who are out partying and the people that are sitting on beaches and the people that don’t care if they get this virus or take it home to their grandparents and maybe kill their grandparents or complicate their lives,” he said. “The longer that America doesn’t take this seriously and doesn’t stay in and try to contain this, the longer that everyone’s gonna be out of jobs.”
So — the fat redneck with a beautiful voice who complains about killer COVID people, yet hypocritically forgets to name himself as one of the serial killers, shames everyone else but himself as a reason why he protects his sweaty southern millions instead of protecting his employees.
Again, I love his music, but when stupid people say stupid things – well, “stupid is as stupid does, Mrs. Blue!”
Then, later in the article, the bearded fat man comes clean, “I had 250 employees when COVID started. I have to go work and provide and keep all those things going, all of our businesses, everything we had going. It just smashed everything. And then you have to keep the things that are necessary. Without everything else, there is a lot more bandwidth, right? A lot less headaches, a lot less payroll going out the door. So I don’t have to just play as many shows to just go and break even with everything that’s happening. So we’ve got a lot leaner machine now, but everybody’s morale and everybody’s spirit is in it.”
How about the families that you had to lay off? Is their morale good? Is their spirit in it? Again you soaked up millions of dollars, blamed everyone else for COVID, got COVID yourself twice, but found, thanks to COVID not business acumen, a better business model (after firing hard working Americans during a financial tragedy and when they needed the money most) and a rejuvenated bloviation of your musical proselytization, and so now everything is good!?
Narcissists are amazing contributions to all things America!
Zac, politics aren’t your poison. Your own hypocrisy is your poison. Stop pulling the leaves off the tree and then blaming the tree for dying. How did you get COVID twice, and why did you lay people off? There was a bunch of free government money to protect people from losing their jobs – who runs your business? Wow…. what a horrible article. Rolling Stone is a pile of crap for a magazine – their reporters are lazy, purely lazy!
Shut up and sing!
