White House Briefing – January 28, 2025

We here at goneroad.com are proud to announce our White House Press Pass application has officially been submitted.

Announced today during the Trump Administration’s first Press Briefing lead by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the White House is opening up applications to media sources that were never traditionally approved to enter the White House Briefing or allowed access to the White House.

Karoline Leavitt shared during the briefing that the Trump Administration recognizes that corporate media or mainstream media is no longer in favor with the American public. Trump recognizes a majority of Americans consume news and content from many independent news sources like goneroad.com, as well as social media sources and independent content creators.

“The Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities, not just the legacy media who are seated in this room, because according to recent polling from Gallup, Americans’ trust in mass media has fallen to a record low,” Leavitt said.

“Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media, and other independent outlets,” she continued. “It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump’s message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025.”

“We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content creators to apply for credentials to cover this White House,” she said.

The Trump Administration encourages new media sources to apply! So we did and are excited to hear if we’ll be approved to start creating content direct from the White House. Or at least, have access to the White House for our reporting.

Thank you to all – STAY TUNED!!
