E-woman-uel Cleaver

Emanuel Cleaver is finding new fame today after ending his opening prayer of the 117th Congress saying “Amen and A-woman”.

“And dare I ask, oh Lord, peace even in this chamber now and evermore,” Cleaver said while serving as guest House chaplain. “We ask it in the name of the monotheistic god, Brahma, and god known by many names by many different faiths. Amen and awoman.”

Crazy Nancy just passed new rules in congress that virtually erases gender identity from the creation of any new documents hitting the floor. Yet, this lunatic chose to praise the progression of women occupying more and more seats in congress than ever before, by closing a prayer with identity politics.

Praised by Democrats for this stunt, and mocked by mostly every other sane person paying attention, E-woman-uel Cleaver is astonished by the blowback. Well, your party voted to eliminate gender from Congress, but you worked it into your prayer anyway.

Women occupying more and more seats in congress is a result of voters identifying that “she” was a better candidate than “he”. Worse yet, Democrats consistently work any identity politics into whatever they do and say, but at the same time try to eliminate gender identity …. it’s so damn confusing.

The Democratic Party is a disaster. And now we’re moments away from a critical vote in Georgia that will enable the most radical, Democratic Party in it’s history – led by a President whose brain has basically vacated the building, and a Vice President who is more comfortable being a liar and a plagiarist (more on that in my next piece). Hard to get excited about politics these days.
