“Fweedom!”
Just a side note, I threw up twice writing this piece! Elle Magazine has a story about Vice Liar-Elect Camel Harris, a disgusting article I might add. Any article that starts out with a lie, just can’t be anything but nonsense, and a clear illustration of the biases in the media.
First things first, the article’s caption under her picture reads, “On November 7, news organizations announced that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 Presidential election. Senator Harris is officially the next vice president of the United States, cementing her place as the first woman, the first Black woman, the first Indian-American, South Asian, and Asian-American person to hold the position.” Elle is careful not offend a single group in the lame attempt at identity politics, except … wait for it, Jamaican-American’s! They’re quick to headline she’s “black”, of course, but in attempt to be so politically correct in identifying all of the ethnicities she’s made of, they fail to be scrupulously accurate about her Jamaican-American heritage. C’mon man!
Anyway! In the article she repeats a story she’s told two times prior in her 2010 and 2019 books about the day her mother dropped her on the side of the road in Oakland. Well, let’s let her tell the story, shall we? “Senator Kamala Harris started her life’s work young. She laughs from her gut, the way you would with family, as she remembers being wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller with no straps with her parents and her uncle. At some point, she fell from the stroller (few safety regulations existed for children’s equipment back then), and the adults, caught up in the rapture of protest, just kept on marching. By the time they noticed little Kamala was gone and doubled back, she was understandably upset. “My mother tells the story about how I’m fussing,” Harris says, “and she’s like, ‘Baby, what do you want? What do you need?’ And I just looked at her and I said, ‘Fweedom.’” (Barf #1)
As many news article are now pointing out (no articles from the liberal media, of course), this story is eerily similar to another story told by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ““I will never forget a moment in Birmingham when a White policeman accosted a little Negro girl, seven or eight years old, who was walking in a demonstration with her mother,” King told Playboy Magazine in an article written in 1965. “‘What do you want?’ the policeman asked her gruffly, and the little girl looked at him straight in the eye and answered, ‘Fee-dom,’” he continued. “She couldn’t even pronounce it, but she knew. It was beautiful! Many times when I have been in sorely trying situations, the memory of that little one has come into my mind, and has buoyed me.”
Look it, this isn’t the first time she’s broken principle, if she even has any, she more or less asked Biden to leave the Democratic primary race on the account of sexual harassments allegations, and called him a racist for aligning with segregationist and opposed busing. Remember her finger wagging diatribe, “There was a little girl in California who was a part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bused to school every day,” she said. “And that little girl was me.” Yeah, the same, opportunistic little liar who’s now his Vice President, and the same little girl who fell out of a stroller and cried “Fweedom!”
